Monitoring Heart Data (ECG & Rate)

Two electrodes on your chest are connected via leads to a small device such as the Alive Heart Monitor. Strapped to your body or clothing, this monitor transmits live heart data to your bluetooth-enabled mobile phone.

Cycloscope software runs on the phone and receives this data. It visualises and records the heart activity in realtime. It also allows to send recordings to any email address. Easily installed and inexpensive, this system provides accurate heart data for health, fitness and well-being.The information made accessible is far beyond the standard heart rate monitor.

The animated screen shows ECG waveform, heart rate and wave morphology over time. Slowly evolving trends and temporary events are shown in an animated 'cycle history'.

Monitoring Movement (Acceleration)

The Alive Heart Monitor is strapped to your body. You could choose to clip it tightly to your shoes, strap it to your arm or legs - or any other location you intend to monitor and record motion from. No cabling is required, your movements are not restricted.

You will quickly learn how to control the regularity of your movements via the visual feedback shown on the Cycloscope display. By comparing recordings between friends or by reviewing your own history, you have the most accurate tool to optimise smootheness and efficiency in cycling, walking, runnning - or even dancing.
